I too cringe about the electrical set up inside of a plastic bag. Hunt around for an electrician friend of a friend to help you wire it up properly.

Good reference for anyone into breeding for particular colors or wanting to know what theirs is. I would have like to have seen a few pictures of different colored quail for examples of some of the more difficult to know colors.

You've covered all the bases here! We border a forest and have everything from bear down to weasels. Dogs and motion lights are the two most effective for us.

Excellent information for all poultry owners who have lost, or possibly face losing a precious feathered friend.
