Looks like a great little set up for inside the coop. Hoping to do something similar for my girls once all the ground is frozen. I like the idea of adding treats at first to encourage the birds to get in!
When they are dust bathing naturally, they are always eating little bits of things as the dust.
Thanks for sharing!

I always enjoy seeing the large coops with plenty of space! The sunroom is a very nice touch! I imagine the birds love that on cold and rainy/snowy days! Thanks for writing!

Very interesting findings with the experiment! I thought for sure the farm egg may last an extra day or so! Really enjoyed all the information in this article! A lot of the facts, I was not aware of before reading! Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I was also certain the store egg would rot faster! Thanks for the review!

Really love the fact you were able to build this out of repurposed materials! The colors you picked for their house look great. My only concern is the amount of space, I feel like they will need more room to move around as they grow.
Thanks for sharing your build!

Yes space is something that really concerns me... I will try to compensate by giving them some time to free range

Really enjoyed the video showing the build! The pictures of each step were amazing! Would like to see the specific measurements for this coop to make it even simpler to duplicate! Love that it is mobile, but would also be beautiful stationary! Great job!

Thank you! I've really come to enjoy moving the chickens and watching their excitement on new grass. I also plan on remeasuring the inside after I deep clean the coop next summer. I was working off hand sketches which I altered multiple times during the build so it's not quite accurate.

Love the aquarium breeders. What a great way to repurpose something that would otherwise head to the dump. Love that you can easily wipe down the glass when the babies make a mess! Nice article!

Great article full of details and pics! Very well written, step by step guide. I didn't know you could can this way reusing old lids. Very valuable information for this peach grower! Can't wait to try this!

You have PEACHES! - OMG!
Try this recipe with the peaches and some Grand Manier liqueur. Add about 1/2 to one shot glass to the fruits in the glasses before filling them up with the syrup.
Don't worry, the alcohol evaporates but the aroma remains and mixes with the peaches.
Dang! Now i'm drooling severely! ;-)
