Would work great for a brooder and a momma nursery, Thanks for sharing. I wouldn't put the heat in it though. Most dont need the heat, they produce their own heat. I always give cracked corn or scratch in th winter to help with with that.
The Article was laid out great, lots of helpful information (gonna go buy that light fixture for my coop!!) Great ventilation and lots of room! Great build!
Love the colors very cute!! There will never be grass there lol mind had their favorite places(when we lived in oklahoma) there was no grass at all around them.
I would have to build a bigger coop, mine would b all crammed in there like sardines.
Great job on the build. They have a nice big home! Only thing I would do is add more vents, you can NEVER have enough ventilation with chickens. Thank you for sharing!!
Looks good! Only thing you need is more ventilation and that would be a bonus and add more light too! I would also have the HWC go all the way to the top of the roof that way nothing can climb in and try to get them. You could even extend the run out to yard more for more sunshine. Love the pop door becoming a ramp.
Love the step by step, and pictures to go along with it. Also the lists of everything you used and bought/had on hand. The coop is a little small for me, just my opinion but looks like it worked awesome for you. Thank you for sharing you did an awesome job!
Love how you kept us updated for each day! The coop came out great! Only thing I would change, is add a bigger run if they dont free range during the day.
