Very nice article showing what you did and how you did it!. Really like the plans with notations. I believe that someone could reproduce this coop following your steps.
Wonder how it turned out? Wonder if the nesting boxes are still in the same spot or if they have been moved because of the door to the run?
Interesting way to build but I get it. I always worry about them having room to roam around. They don't need too much when they sleep!
Interesting use of double gutters and I also like one of the comments about a mister/soaker hose watering the plants on the roof. Nice coop.
I'm curious about this coop in your location of Washington. Do they winter in this same spot? How did you mount the door?
It would be really helpful to have more info about this. I imagine that there are other folks who may like to build something very similar to this.
