There will be a very graphic photo, beware.
My hen is about 9 months old, laying and today I noticed she has prolapse,
Basically, I held her, she actually pooped on me haha! and then noticed the prolapse.
After about 30 mins it went away.
Will it come back?
What should I do?
Serious Problem with my blue Wyandottes.
There will be an extremely graphic image below.
My blue wyandottes vent looks as so.
She didn't lay, and she has been pooping, what's wrong? :( Please message me.
Maddy
Well, my little Wyandottes got disqualified from fair, because they had mites.
Last week, we had a woman check them for mites, who would see them better than us, and she said they were fine! :(
Oh well, next year!
We did, with powder. They were mites apparently, we had them checked a couple days ago, and they didn't have them. But oh well, i'm excited for next time :)
Ah bad news! A woman checked my chicken about a week ago for mites, fleas, ect and said they were clear, and today, entering the fair at the vet check, they said they had fleas! How irritating. Oh well, next year i'll make sure and try again! :)
Hello! I may be able to help you catch them, as I live in Campbell :) I may actually be able to raise the hens as well, but the roo, will probably have to be given to somebody else, but I'd love to help!
OMG IS IT A BLUE? :DDDD
Mine look EXACTLY the same!
The one in the front and back!
:D
Mine looked very awkward until they were about 6 months
so pretty~
I raised my three blue's together, and they're inseperable, they don't freak out a bunch, but if i carry one, the others follow. They're 10 months old now.
They never peck or attack me if I seperate them.
I think most chickens lay around 6-7 months of age and maybe earlier, but I could be wrong...
