Pros: Readily available. Comes in 40# bags that are easier to carry than 50#.
Cons: Too little protein for growing chicks. Powdery.
Feathers are made from 90% protein and its' amino acids. All chicks are growing feathers still in addition to growing muscle... energy or calories as it is known... come from only thee sources... Protein, fat, and carbs including fiber. Get more bang for you buck (nutrient wise) and choose a higher protein feed. This brand also has more fine powder than others.

Pros: Plenty of valid information available to those who seek it.
Cons: Over rated, over used, often ineffective as pest control, strip mined.
It works for some things... like droppings desiccant. But it provides a false sense of security about pests on poultry and is proven ineffective in humid environments like mine. I consider it harmful to breath and to the environment in it's processed form.

Pros: Cleaner water my dogs can't drink dry daily and doesn't get dumped by flock antics.
Cons: Not for indoor use.
Took my birds long enough to get he hang, but once they do it's kind of amusing to watch them drink. Plenty of drips fall all around the bird to the ground when they are drinking, no big deal outdoors. Pretty leak free when not in use IF installed correctly. I have to use a scrubby brush to get algae off the internal gaskets. Worked well enough I bought more to add more waterers!

Pros: Holds plenty of feed for a decent sized flock. Hanging hook makes for easy hanging on a higher hook to avoid night time rodents.
Cons: Meh, it wasn't free and won't sit on the ground without unscrewing the base.
I only had issues with the bottom coming off BEFORE I hung it. Once hung... never again. Adjustable tightness for different feed types.

Pros: It holds water.
Cons: Hard to twist off and on. Shallow well freezes easily.
I won't be purchasing this style of waterer again. I was hoping it would keep waddles and crests out of the water. It works for crests but not waddles. Also, thought it would keep my dogs from drinking the chicken water, but doesn't do that either. My biggest issue is that it's difficult to twist off and on. I fight it both ways EVERY time. Standard screw on will be easier. I also don't like how much dirt settles on the bottom even inside the base of the jug area. So I have to kinda scrub it every time I fill. It is better than a big bowl of water that chicks can fall into and drown much easier. Another thing I don't appreciate about it is that when you turn it upside down, half the water is not in the jug anymore which I realize doesn't change it's stated capacity because it is in the well still but my mind sees it as half empty when I just filled it up. So I hold it under water to let it fill all the way including the little well part. It works, just not well enough for me. I also find the small water well portion freezes easily and doesn't break up as easily, despite we rarely even hit 32. When we do it's frozen even under the covered run.

Pros: Easy set up, very functional.
Cons: Intermittent shock, clicking sound.
I like the fence/battery indicator. At a glance I can see if the fence is disrupted by something. The shock is not bad to the finger, but effective if it gets the animal at the RIGHT location. I can see noses being much more sensitive than fingers. Yes I've tested it personally! :D

The intermittent shock means the bird HAS to be touching the wire long enough to be shocked. So it may not get them the first time. :barnie But when it does, they don't forget it! Getting it to the exact right height for different animals can take some trial and error. I don't like the clicking sound disrupting my otherwise peaceful area. But you get used to it and it fades into the background. Plus it's a nice auditory confirmation that the fence is still working.
