My apologies if this has already been concreted in the past... However, What version of the Ayam Cemani standard is to be followied in the USA? Traditional Indonesian standard or will we be following the an altered version of it, such as the proposed standard in Europe? Or will the US be coming...
Hello everyone!
I'm looking for a bantam Jubilee Orpington rooster or older cockerel. Anyone have anything available within 2 hours from Little Rock?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Steve
Thank you Henk69!
Now this gives me even more to chew on and process. I'll be back with more questions after I've thought it through. :)
I appreciate your help as this clarifies a lot!!!!
Hello all,
I'm trying to figure out and dissect a project before starting. I run into conflicting information regarding creating citron and citron spangled. I find some refer to the cream gene (ig) to dilute and create the pale citron color. I then come across others that use the lavender...
Good morning everyone,
Does anyone have or know of anyone in central AR that has bantam lavender Orpingtons? I need a hen or pullet for a project. Thanks! ps. Msg me privately if you have any information.
Fortunately I started my Serama project with 2 chocolate and a black. I've produced alot of chocolate... the midnight blue came in from Jerry S. My breeding with her has been limited but out of 25 or so hatched this year I've only got one mauve... well.. that I'm aware of. :) There's...
YAY! I'm so glad that you agree with me on her being Mauve. Her father is a silver duckwing chocolate and her mother is a super dark "midnight blue". The darkest blue I've ever seen. My thoughts are that the intensity of the chocolate lacing is coming from this. Out of 25 or so birds hatched...
Updated pics of my little "Mauve" pullet. I've been told by many she was not mauve as a chick but I'm sticking to my guns that she is mauve. The blue is very obvious at 4 months. I'm curious if she's so heavy on the chocolate because her mother was a "midnight blue"? Thoughts?
If there was a LIKE button I would of hit that! Hope you enjoyed the eggs. :) Zebra's are FANTASTIC to breed. So peaceful and such a joy to watch. Good luck.
Hi there,
If you're willing to ship in I have a friend who breeds excellent SQ Spitz in both silver and golds.. (a few other colors she's working on as well) Send me a message if you'd like her information.
Good morning everyone,
I recently acquired a beautiful flock of German Line New Hampshire Reds from 202Roosterlane. I love these birds... They're simply stunning.
Unfortunately however, my neighbors are giving me a hard time over the rooster being "too loud". I want to co-exist with my...
Oh they're gorgeous!!!! Well done.
Here's some pics I just took outdoors to show some better lighting. I'm also including the parents. This is my first Mauve so I have zero experience. I just know that Chocolate x Blue = Mauve. LOL
Here is a "Mauve" Serama chick I photographed this morning (sorry.. too early so the photos are a bit dark) This chick is from a Chocolate Silver Duckwing cock and a Midnight Blue hen... creating what they call Mauve.
I'll try to get a better photograph later today when there's better...
Good morning,
I'm looking for Phoenix and/or Yokohama. Adults, young or chicks... May consider hatching eggs but prefer something already hatched. (that bator is brimming) Color is not important. I'm more concerned with feather fullness of the "curtain" and body form. Good saddle length is a...
Good morning everyone,
I'm dispersing my ornamental laying flock so that I can focus on just a few breeds. My laying flock was hatched in February of last year so they're young and laying very well!!!
Here's what I have in LF hens. Asking $15 each;
3 Buff laced Polish
5 EE/Americuana (2...
