    So many with a blood ring?

    I put 14 eggs into the incubator. 4 still look good on day 7. 6 have a blood ring and 4 were completely clear. Of the 6, 5 were of 1 breed. I am scrupulous about cleaning the incubator after a hatch and then again before hatching. Doesn't 6 red rings of death sound like a lot? Any ideas why...

    goose and chicken eggs together?

    Someone just asked me if I could hatch some goose eggs for her. I can put them in today but I have some chicken eggs coming on wednesday or thursday. Can I hatch them together? For chickens I run the humidity around 40% and then bump it up to 60% on day 18. Do geese need more humidity?
