    I get dead worms because I wont pick up live ones. lol but my hubby gives them live ones in the after noon and when he does we get more eggs the next day. red worms the big ones.

    keep then in for 8 days on the 9th day let them out and hour before dusk and toss some worms in the coop and they will go in. do this about 3 days. ps only give them worms to get them in the coop at first.
