Hey delisha, thanks! He is a beauty and very friendly. I think we got two dozen eggs from you, they were mostly mixed breeds? I think you said you included two pure breed eggs. May those have been where he came from? We ended up with Mr. Blue and a Mrs. Blue, so hopefully we will have...

Hey y'all. Spent the day yesterday cleaning the coop up. Ended up with a headache from all the roosters crowing continuously!! We also ended up with a lot more roos than originally thought. I'm sure the neighbors aren't happy, so it's time to deal with that. We're pretty sure we'll be...

How frustrating, bbp. My daughter is also behind in reading and math (2nd grade). She's slowly catching up with additional help in school, they have small groups of kids that study with another teacher for help in different subjects. When she's home, she likes to play school with her younger...

Thanks cuties and terri. We have four gray ones, two that I'm 99% sure are girls and probably two boys. We have ended up with quite a few roos that we need to relocate or otherwise, but I'm trying to convince my mom to keep the prettiest roo or two :)

I'm anxiously awaiting a call from my sister. She has been in the chicken coop for the last hour+ watching a raccoon while I tried to get ahold of my parents. No one answers their dang phones! Thank goodness she saw the tail, or it would have been a terrible sight in the morning. I would cry...

I use Young Living essential oils, I joined as a distributor for the cheaper prices. Before those, I did buy some peppermint and eucalyptus from GNC. Try using Google images for recipes, you might recognize the picture to make searching faster lol.
