Chest bumping doesn't necessarily mean they are cockerels. You will know for sure by 6 weeks, as the cockerels will have the bigger, slightly pinker combs.

I don't know if it's just her pose or what, but I like this picture.

They can manage pretty well in the cold. Just treat them like other chickens: no drafts, but enough ventilation, clean food and water, etc. If you feel like they aren't warm enough, try giving some cracked corn for extra carbs.

The weights listed in the Standard are maximum weights. As long as your birds aren't so small as to not be productive or the size of a song bird (ok, that's probably exaggerating), then your weights sound fine, personally.

Hens should have leaders on their combs, though they are significantly smaller than a cock's. I was just out this afternoon with some 8 week old cockerels and they are (surprisingly) sweet little things. Haven't been aggressive towards me, though I see them raising hackles at each other...

Yep, what chippy said. It's the leader sticking up. Once they reach point of lay, the rest of the comb will pop up with it.

Well, I can honestly say that I've never heard that before. What method did you try with the Sebright eggs? Because as I mentioned before, mine did well under some broodies.

I wouldn't imagine why different breeds would need different incubation settings... a chicken is a chicken. I hatched some eggs udder a couple broodies this summer and didn't have any trouble hatching. What temp. and humidity do you have it set?

The one on the right I'd say is just hatchery quality. She just has incomplete lacing.

I heard some first time crows here also. Sigh... and so it begins haha

From the pictures on the other thread, they are both hens. If you could get some new pictures that would help though. Personally, I wouldn't be giving them all of those things at the same time. For one, these different compounds could deactivate each other and render them useless. It's also...

Hmm... well it definitely has me stumped haha. The only thing I can tell you is that the single comb is recessive to the rose comb. I think your best bet is to find out which hatchery TSC ordered from and then call the hatchery to ask them. Otherwise, you have some million dollar Sebrights! lol

Do you have any pictures of what they look like currently? I'm wondering if the hatchery crossed some Goldens with Silvers. It's not a sex-linked crossing, but it might explain the difference. What hatchery did you buy them from?

The Buff Sebrights breed true. I don't know if the Golds and Silvers were used to produce them, but I'd imagine it took many generations. And it takes a loooooooooooooooong time for a new breed or variety to be approved and added to the Standard. Not to mention the difficult stipulations in the...

Spurs are never a good indication of sex, as much as people like to think they are. At 4 weeks, chest bumping is normal. They are figuring out the pecking order and not necessarily a rooster-only behavior.

Yea I would definitely say cockerel.

I respectfully disagree. Chick #2 is starting to look like a cockerel. I can't tell with Chick #1 because of the angle.
