Is there prior info on the feeding of the Cornish broiler pullets or any easy formula to go by that any of you suggest ,to keep them healthy and up so that i too can introduce a few into a program ,i do have a standard roo waiting hes a few months now.
Ive got an up and coming Dark std Roo ,hes hatchery bred so he may not be the upper crust but worth a go,plans are to get me some Fast growers and do some crossing .
we have to many predators arial and on the ground ,,sad thing is our hands are tied by the government, i wouldn't be a blatant predator killer ,but i see no problems killing predators of my stock , there is alot wrong in way too many laws.
Any one out there ever find a nick with Bantam cornish, i do not show , my thoughts are on meat birds, I have 2 white bantam cornish hens need plans for next spring.
If you plan to use the cornish roaster pullet in your breeding programs ,and you keep the weight down i mean the feed is minimal so as to not have the rapid weight gain ,when can you expect her to start laying .?
I AM NOT seeing this size out of the Cornish std x maran ,mine are not thick they are more Gamefowl shaped ,so back to the drawing board i will have to try the fast grower cornish rock pullet method like others have used on this thread.
I have a hatchery stock baby dark cornish roo right now just 5 days old it would be great if he could be like BAM Bam ,but i dont know about hatchery stock.
