I always check my girls over once they are roosting, while it is still light to see but they are more subdued because of roosting, especially my legbars as they are very skittish

Her sister is very brown and her creat is very small and black, but Percy seems to be growing very well, I only got them because I thought they were cute, I had never heard of the breed so didn't know what I had till I came on here lol

My gorgeous little Percy is growing fast

The only time I hear mine talk is when they have grabbed a treat, and they run round the whole garden honking lmao

Mine are pullets lol, they have just started to talk and when they get a grape they run around with hit and make a noise like a geese lol

Does anyone else's legbars sound like geese lol

Yeah always keeping an eye on them, I've got a sick one at the moment who is in the bath tub as we speak lol, lived in Shropshire since 85, except a few years break down in Plymouth

Im the same storm, my biggest threat is foxes and stray dogs, see an occasional hawk, and owls but my girls are locked up at night, I have never seen or come across a weasel

Mine don't eat mice, my cat takes them and gives them the chickens, and they just turn there nose up lol
