just assisted 2 and 1 more 99% then DIS going to check parameters on incubator again!! locking down next batch in J12 to see if any difference!

Make sure you have multiple thermometers in the incubator. You may have a couple of hot spots.

Well, the quail seem to be enjoying their newfound freedom. Gandalf (tuxedo male) ran around his old cage for a bit, looking for the door, before he figured out that he could be chasing ladies instead. Male #2 has to be penned still: he can't get along with Gandalf. I'm going to process him this weekend when I do the CX and maybe some Chanteclers.

Wow, the 4th pic looks like a cross between a Bob and a Cot or maybe a ? Idk... those flank feathers don't look like a Cot's. Interesting bird.

Pretty sure the lady I got him from had only Coturnix, but he's definitely an interesting-looking bird. He's my oldest quail at 1.5 yrs of age.

Actually those feathers remind me of the feathers on my Corsican partridges, I use to have before a tree fell on them during a storm and killed'em.

Didnt wanna jinx it but also! Just gave the vet directions for my npip inspection today! Still gotta get dressed so i wont be back after i finish catching up everywhere- ill be pacing! It had been reschedualed times :

Thanks again! I know theyre healthy i had that necropsy done in April but its been so Hard to get her to come out here!
