The green circled blood vessel needs to recede more.
I would split the membrane where I drew the 2 yellow lines, and fold the membrane up and stick it to the shell. Just a flap, not ripped off, just folded up like a trash bag in a can.

The blue line is the spine, going up and around to the head. You could stick a qtip in where the yellow dot is, and lift the membrane off the face. The red is that blood vessel that you do not want to rip/bust.

Take a tiny piece of paper towel and press it on it, if it's alot....otherwise it will stop if the vein tiny.
