Just keep the membrane moist and leave it alone until the yolk gets absorbed. If you cut those veins it could bleed out....I know hard to do!This is where I made him bleed and stopped because I notice yellow.
Way too much yellow.

I think it stopped already...the spot hasn't gotten any bigger.Take a tiny piece of paper towel and press it on it, if it's alot....otherwise it will stop if the vein tiny.
I do this sometimes too!The green circled blood vessel needs to recede more.
I would split the membrane where I drew the 2 yellow lines, and fold the membrane up and stick it to the shell. Just a flap, not ripped off, just folded up like a trash bag in a can.

The blue line is the spine, going up and around to the head. You could stick a qtip in where the yellow dot is, and lift the membrane off the face. The red is that blood vessel that you do not want to rip/bust.

If the membrane dries on the down, I remove it by taking a q-tip with warm water and soaking the area till it comes lose.Yep, just keep it moist and wait for it to start struggling to get out.
Eventually you will likely have to rip the membrane off, once all the veins are dried up, because it will just stretch as the chick tries to get thru it. Like trying to break thru a ballon with a spoon. Lol![]()
