I can't remember who had the naked baby.View attachment 1873110 I have a bald hatchling. I thought it was just wet still, but I picked it up just now and it is deginitely dry and bald. I recall some others had such cases. Did the feathers grow in eventually and did the bird thrive in your case. I am s bit worried about it maintaining its body temp without much down feathers.
The picture is not doing justice to how bald it is. Maybe you are correct, and I would live it if you are. It really looks like it doesn't have much feathering though.I think it jus needs to finish fluffing @BReeder! Looks like the fluff just dried in clumps or laid down, you might be able to free it up w an old toothbrush
