@muddy75 and @Matieus27 is there no way to find out why the chicken have died and prevent it?
Coccidiosis is red/bloody diariah..? My quail often have watery poops but as soon as I give them vitamins in the water they get better.

mine was a runt....(failure to thrive) it happens....that’s why i typically don’t do final head count on my hatches until after first week.

what’s the best age to tell if my buttons are male or female? none have the distinct coloring like benjamin button did and they all cuddle together still. not seeing any signs of red near the butts and only 2 have any black at the neck but it’s more broken up.....they are 6 weeks old already!

The wild type color hens are brown and black barred so if you have any like that i can tell you their sex but thats all i know

I think i have one wild type hen and one unknown sex tuxedo of the two i hatched on Monday(?was that the day?)

Sorry i have been going to bed early but i was one of your late night shift til this week.

Would yall know that thing w the lump stickn out of its head is still kickin? I thought it would succumb or id see it starting to decline and need to cull but its thriving. Had to dab a tiny bit of blue-kote on it cuz the others startn tryn to figure out what it is and they got it to bleed

I shall call him Yummy from now on.
