I mean, seriously, don't all people keep hammers, hatchets, eggs, light bulbs, mini-cast-iron skillets, wire, squares, levels and numerous other items in their shed/quail house?

Except for the skillet, I have all of those in my coop, lol. Not to mention all the other stuff.

You are gonna get dust all over your tools. Keep a cover over electronics and power tools, or keep them in a closed cabinet. I'm speaking from experience.

Gotcha, most of my tools have poo on them somewhere, a little dust might improve the appearance.

The skillet has screws & washers & other important little things.

the finch babies are poking their heads out a lot tonight! they should be venturing out of the nest this week! 2 look fully feathered and bigger than mommy and daddy already! #3 still has a fuzzy head. they are adorable!! but i have to figure out something soon because it also looks like mommy and daddy are planning their next hatch! the cots are already leapfrogging so i also have to figure out how to transition them to cage.....i really want to keep them inside for at least another week due to frigid temps we are having so i guess i will try set up the cage brooder on a card table in the corner tomorrow ​
