@Texas Kiki @Nabiki @muddy75 @FortCluck @R2elk @007Sean & everyone else too!!!! I thought I heard one of my quailies crow the other night after I put them in their new pens (they're 3 weeks old). Tonight I 100% heard one crow, I ran to see who it was and everyone's just looking at me. One of them is standing tall in the dirt bath with its neck stretched up while the rest are in their normal hunched over stance.... can I assume it was that ONE? (The one looking at the camera)

the cots are already leapfrogging so i also have to figure out how to transition them to cage.....i really want to keep them inside for at least another week due to frigid temps we are having so i guess i will try set up the cage brooder on a card table in the corner tomorrow
, one looked like it may have a blood ring so I'll hafta check it again before lockdown. So... I set 30, down to 26 now on that batch. I'll candle the 59 Sexlink & Feather-Sexable in a couple of days
. I'm really hoping for a good hatch out with both batches. The little buggers are just so darn cute!!!
That's ok, I have a couple more normal males, and he'll taste great at Sunday dinner.
