males crow more at dawn and dusk....you can keep watching to verify this is your guy or start getting some practice with vent sexing! but yes they do stand straight up and extend their neck when crowing@Texas Kiki @Nabiki @muddy75 @FortCluck @R2elk @007Sean & everyone else too!!!! I thought I heard one of my quailies crow the other night after I put them in their new pens (they're 3 weeks old). Tonight I 100% heard one crow, I ran to see who it was and everyone's just looking at me. One of them is standing tall in the dirt bath with its neck stretched up while the rest are in their normal hunched over stance.... can I assume it was that ONE? (The one looking at the camera)

, one looked like it may have a blood ring so I'll hafta check it again before lockdown. So... I set 30, down to 26 now on that batch. I'll candle the 59 Sexlink & Feather-Sexable in a couple of days
. I'm really hoping for a good hatch out with both batches. The little buggers are just so darn cute!!!

That's ok, I have a couple more normal males, and he'll taste great at Sunday dinner.
