➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Well I got another incubator its a Farm Inavations 4250 pro series. The problem is it's got a fan but it dont turn over enough air to circulate the heat. I'm still getting layers like you do in a still air. Anyone here see this?
I have the same model. I don't have any straifications of layers in mine?
You might check around the heating wires, maybe an obstruction in the way?

my original 7 are almost 12 weeks old and I know there’s at least 3 hens. no eggs yet!?!? :idunnothe 10 are almost 4 weeks old now....i know i have a couple roosters in the bunch because some crowing going on but I haven’t attempted to feather sex yet. its been rainy and yucky this week and supposed to be over 40* drop in temp in 12 hour period tomorrow :barnie

also getting a bit frustrated with christmas chicks....they’ve been outside for 2 weeks now and refuse to go inside coop at night on their own!! It’s never taken me more than a few days with other groups!

Do your quail get any supplemental light?

And sorry about the Christmas chicks. Some just never want to go to bed it seems. :p

Goods news - Crazy Lady asked for fried quail eggs sandwich for dinner. She likes the little yolks. :D I'll take it. Looks like I'm keeping some layers.

Yep, our weather is supposed to drop into the 40°F's the next day also. NOT looking for more rain. :barnie The yard is a quagmire. The chicken pen is a quagmire. The living room is a quagmire with all the dogs traipsing through. Usually, just after mopping. The nasty beasts.

The 2 week old, Batch #1, looking like little quail. The feathers are coming. No heat at night now. Are they only 2 weeks old?!?

Batch #2 still due on St. Valentine's Day. I should have bought chocolate stocks.

Yeah up here in the DFW area it’s going from a wonderful 80° to a nice 26° with a lovely “feel like” temperature of 13° for tomorrow night. :th
