What is wrong with this quail? I gave it water and it started doing this...... tiny drops

Sorry about the hubs clearing his throat in the background. We’ve had germs in our house almost 2 months straight now

Not sure....but I would guess it's having some serious trouble.

Can you put the lid on and poke a small hole near the top?
I DO NOT know if this will help or not.

I’ve tried ever so slowly unscrewing the lid but when it runs out of air, the water droplets stop coming out.
