My eggs from Myshire Farm are out for delivery! (It's not like I've been checking my order progress obsessively for the last three days ). I hope to have ~25 in the incubator by tonight or tomorrow morning.

Guess what just arrived:

I'm gonna need a bigger brooder! I was only going to set 2/3 of them at first, but seeing them all here... Now I just need to draw on every drop of patience I possess before I toss them straight in the incubator...

Hopefully all kinds! The listing promised 20 different colors, including a couple jumbos and some from german lines. I'm looking forward to seeing them all grown up (even the ones I'll have to cull eventually—no more males for me).

I got some of those. I haven’t used them yet, but they seem to be operated by a float valve. The cup should keep a consistent water level I think, assuming they work properly.

@BReeder! I put one of these cups on a plastic coffee “can”. The water level ends up maybe half inch down from the top edge and doesn’t vary.
