I actually think I might be on day 10...I need to double check the date I actually started, thank goodness I have been writing things down and writing down each time I turn the eggs.

Did you post here when you set them? I try to post somewhere, just for that purpose.

my eggs arrived today!! 30!!!! i haven’t thoroughly inspected each egg yet but they were packed well and appear to all be intact! calculating realistically if only 70% are fertile, and i get a 70% hatch rate, I should get 14-15 chicks! my chicken eggs are day 19 so should get these set Christmas Day if all goes well!

So I got a big fat zero from my quailies (ahhh the irony.. decided to try quailies because I suck so bad at hatching turkeys)

I have set my 48 quail eggs from a different source.. Trying to mix up the gene pool over here!
(And have set a few Turkey eggs that we were given with teeny tiny Turkey poult)

so sorry about your qualies! hopefully this hatch will go better! i’m now 5 days since I found my first pullet egg....wondering if my chickens were just messing with me!

I researched and had these eggs shipped from an ohio farm on ebay. had 100% positive feedback. if i get good results I’ll share! I know not to get my hopes too high from shipped eggs, but quality, packing etc looks as good as any I’ve eggs I’ve purchased from hatcheries.

Ok, checked my hatch journal, I set the eggs at 8:45pm on 12/9/18. So that means day 14 will be 12/23/18 at 9pm, and they should hatch 12/25-27? I might actually get Christmas peeps after all.

Which Ohio farm? Myshire? I got a bunch of their eggs May/June and had a great hatch, now some of the eggs from those birds are in the incubator.
