➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

I stick the quail eggs in the chicken racks. Limits me to 42 (may not be a bad thing). They sit in the bottom but clear the bottom of the incubator. Holds them securely. How many quail are you hatching? 120 seems like a lot to me. So for this year, I'm learning.
I don’t think more than 300 at a time.

That isn’t how math works! First babies, then cages and coops!

Haha I’ve done this... “I’ll just get the coops/cages while the chicks are tiny!”

Lolololol I got babies right now that don’t have a coop/cage - they will but I don’t have it *yet* I’m one of those cross that bridge when I get to it in a couple weeks....... in the meantime enjoy your brooder kids, you won’t be tiny forever! Darn sometimes I wish they would stay that small... sigh.

Careful what you wish for...

Wife wanted babies. Then she wanted sleep. The 2 are mutually exclusive. Get a dog. They stay small and love you always. :) I prefer chickens. :love
