I’m excited to learn male and female behavior. I can tell in ducks after a couple weeks now. So hopefully I’ll learn to see differences in the quail too.Yep, 1st pic I'm pretty sure it's a male,View attachment 1703068
the 3rd pic 'might' be a female...I think I see a few buff colored feathers coming in, lighter colored cap feathers, too View attachment 1703074 plus, the 'pose' is very indicative of a female. ...within a month, you should be able to tell them apart...at this stage, it's just really hard to tell female from male.
