This spring is supposed to bring record flooding in the eastern US.
My plan is to be sure that the next quail house has a plastic bottom, and plenty of straw. Then I plan on keeping straw on the ground if I see mud, and raking out as necessary.
Does this sound right? Chickens/ducks/turkeys go into a coop, and free range, so I don’t worry about them.
