Thanks for clearing some of that up! Those silver backed things also crack me up one has a tan tinge to it(???) but the other is a pale silver tux?

You might be right, but the first looks more like a golden mutation without patterning to me, the second a chocolate, and I think the third is roux dilute but also italian-based (they're often mixed to make "autumn ambers"). #4 is definitely a snowie as you said! (Pearl-fee + silver).

I just think Egyptian is unnecessarily confusing for people getting introduced to other colors like 'pharoah' when the color had a perfectly fine name before. Plus, I think roux dilute rolls off the tongue in a sexier way.

Italian, pearl-fee , charcoal, pansy, and the last two I'd probably just call silvers since they seem to like to pop out all over the spectrum of tan-silver-blue


They are all lovely! Really really nice. You got some stunners in there and definitely some genetics that are not commonly floating around (esp the patternless golden/fawn/beige things and the chocolates. Tho everyone else seems to hatch chocos but me).

I'm a sucker for charcoals as you can tell and that tuxedo one is amazing if it goes missing I swear it wasn't me

More of # 2, safe to say he/she doesnt like its pic taken and i have to disagree about red range. I have several Very red birds, this one has a blue look w red splotchs. Maybe your right and those are cinnamon or something else just asking for a second look.

Actually, I think our first color exploration should be tuxedo/recessive white and extended red in combination. They're supposed to need one of each to show the pattern but that's obviously not the case with a bunch (extended red usually covers other colors).

I'd leave it running. Do you trust it enough to not have a heat spike?

It is a little janoel 12 and I’ve only done one hatch in it. I didn’t adjust the temp the whole time though and I estimate it stayed within a degree or so.
