Did you have at least one calibrated thermometer in your incubator?

Lol, Yes, 4 digitals and I checked it often with a meat thermometer all have been calibrated but I have trust issues because they go bad.

I would say they should all hatch within 24 hours then.

14 babies in brooder and 4 more have hatched this evening! will probably give these guys until Tuesday and then get ready for mystery batch #1 to go to lockdown on Friday! since only 28 mystery batch eggs left to set, I have room to set 28 or more homegrowns with them so I chose 14 today and added them to the box!

Though I am a sucker for quail eggs too. I'm rapidly becoming more invested in my quail than I ever thought I'd be.

We just checked on everyone and the “quickens” are coming unglued!! they were fine right up until bedtime.....now they want their “usual sleeping spot”
hubby commented that he still can’t believe how many birds I have!! (since we’ve lost some and been removing about a dozen or more per month) I think I’m under 10 males now to 25-30 layers so ratio is improving!
