What?

Where did these Celadon eggs come from?

Not Celadon :( Those are my own homebreds I threw in as controls/extra backups.

Mine are on the right, same age.

Oh it's not until late august! I've just been busy working on the house and garden and tending eggs. Thank you though!!

Oh! Maybe it was someone else or I'm mixing up her pearl hatch.

She did hatch perals from KC and did real well. U went camping then? I kno u said u werent gonna be here

Do you know if its the same amount of time for chickens?
I don't watch, so times are perception. Start one bleeding out and do something else. For example, start bleeding one, check water temp. Scald & pluck the one before it. Gut and put in ice chest. Grab the one in the cone, start another bleeding while rinsing & scalding that one.

That was confusing. Always have one in the cone while processing the one before it. I only use one cone. Even with helpers. Hand plucking takes time.

Ever tried using string or something to hang them? It's hard to position the pipe cutters I use with only one hand.
Yes. They crane their necks up. Instead of grabbing their chin to stretch the neck out, I hold them upright, position shears and done. Pin to fence and grab next. Wrestling with them hanging isn't something I'm in for. Chickens calmed down. Quail don't. I'll try it Sunday, but holding is quicker. May try it with Jumbos. My hands aren't that large.

Is anybody else thinking about Mary Antoinette?:lau
You say "Marie Antoinette", I think Wednesday Adams. They're creepy and they're kooky...

:D

No, the part she quoted I was talking about my homebred non-celadon eggs. Having pants luck with the JMF celadon this go round.
I'm confused.

Let me try again.

You hatched out 15 from 100 eggs.
Where did the 100 eggs come from?

And what does all fat problem fee mean?

I got that part...the chicks that have hatched whether shipped or homegrown are all fat and happy and problem free with the exception of a couple splay legs that she’s trying to correct (mainly from shipped eggs) :lauspeaking/typing while multitasking without ā€œdrinkingā€ on a Friday!
