➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Quail people: I'm converting my chicken run to a quail run. Will they go back to their pen at night or am I going to have to chase the little buggers in nightly?
quail do their own thing so if you need them to be inside (due to cold weather or whatever) have to round ‘em up and lock them in!

Did you see the pics? They're miniscule. Chickens are definitely easier.

The ones in the article? Yeah I did and I didn’t realize they were quite that small lol how do you even get the organs out!? And yeah that makes sense. Maybe I should get some meat chickens lol I don’t think I could do that though.

Trust me, you'll be motivated when you go to pay the feed bill. Little monsters. They eat as much as three layers, easy.

OMG really!?

:highfive: plus watching em waddle around lookin miserable :sick

Yeah, that part is sad. :( although I read you can do feed off for 12 hours and on for 12 hours and that helps some? Idk how much though. I was thinking of possibly trying some of the red rangers too cause I figured they might be healthier but idk.

My meaties get feed for much less than 12 hrs a day. They're still pretty fat.
