➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Shizzle sticks.
I don't think I can edit the name.

Nope.
I can not edit that part either.
That's right. Sounds like I should make those editable for the next release. The reason I didn't so far was because the app used to be very simple and it took very little time to delete and re-add the batch.

Thanks

You can probably get sake at a regular grocery store. Mirin you can get at any Asian market. If you can't find mirin, add a bit more sake and a bit more sugar, and you'll be close.

If you want to turn it into a real teriyaki sauce, heat until it simmers, add another part sugar, and cook until it's a bit thick.

Thank you again! Very helpful. Not sure if we have any Asian markets here. I am sure we do, very populated and diverse area and we have a lot of other specialty stores, but I’ve just never looked for one before.

That sounds good too!! Maybe I will make real teriyaki haha

This may seem like yet another stupid question but would I make the sauce separately, like in a sauce pan, or cook it all in the fry pan??

Can you tell I rarely cook? :lau

I just had someone tell me that I shouldn't eat the first eggs produced by my hens because they won't taste right. My BS meter is going off, but I thought I'd ask. Is this true or not?

Probably BS but idk. Guess it depends if you mind the taste but at least with my chickens they tasted the same as later on haha

We are imprinting new baby=not food
She is now standing guard

Awwww adorable. Can I see the dog? Haha

OMG!! I gotta try this! LOL we have one seriously HUGE one I could do it with.

For the stir fry, just mix it all together in a small bowl and throw it over the beans a bit at a time as they cook. It will turn into a nice glaze on its own.

If you're going to thicken it up for real teriyaki sauce, use a small sauce pan.

Edit: I started learning how to cook around age 7 or 8. A proper Japanese girl is supposed to know how to cook, clean, and do finances. I do two of the three well.

Okay, thank you. So out of curiosity, which do you think is better? Will the both taste good? Want to make whichever one is better for what I’m making/the “right” one :lau

And now I wanna know which 2 :lau

And tbh I suck at all 3 :lau

Or at least just never really do any of it but supposedly when I cook, I’m good at it according to my family, so idk, just overly critical of myself I guess lol, I mostly just take too long preparing everything and sometimes burn some stuff but I do follow directions really well so it usually turns out well. I’m just so slow with cutting and stuff or at least like I always try to do a bunch of stuff at once instead of focusing on one part and getting one part done first haha

I love cleaning when I do it and am actually kind of obsessive with it/into making everything truly clean and really scrubbing/wiping and everything but I’m normally relatively lazy and don’t clean like ever

But I’m also still living at home so it’s not really necessary and I think I had my own place I would clean it more. This place is already somewhat nasty as is so I don’t bother haha

Anyway, I might start though hah

Too cute! So i guess u pulled em?
I pulled the first one this afternoon when it was warmer and more humid(had been in for like 3 hrs). We have a bit of cloudage today so ambient humidity has been way higher than our usual 13-16%.

Do u have a clean spray bottle so u can spritz some water in there when you do it? Then are there any Active zippers who could shrink wrap upon fresh cold air?
Yah should it be warm water? There are no zips just a few tiny internal? pips. I think they're determined to hatch at 2am.
Sorry to ramble/go way off topic :lau
