Quail getting into position to break out of the egg
Yes. One of our customers is eating 3 row eggs with the shells every day. And apart from that I know several people that have significant lung improvement from asthma and allergies with one egg per day.
She mentioned asthma actually. She also mentioned they support brain development when I said my toddler loves them.
Ultimately, I learned something new and we have a solid buyer. She will be back in about 2 weeks for 4 orders (6 dozen).

We also gained a few new chicken egg buyers. I cannot even keep up. We were cleared out of chicken and quail eggs this weekend. We only get 5-6 chicken eggs and 10-12 quail eggs per day right now, but I could double or even triple those numbers with the interest we now have. Many people want quail meat too. I am shocked by the amount of interest.

I havent heard of this new trend but i know theyve been saying for years there are so many nutrients in eggs. Also that we cook out half the nutrients. Im all for it though especially if it means i can get more birds :D

I said $5 per bird. That's what I would charge for live adults too. Basically, I ruined process them free. I might charge a packaging fee though too unless they are OK with bulk packing. People have wanted anywhere from 5 to 50... I would love to fill a large order for 50!

Weekly staggered hatch? Are you adding eggs every week to your incubator? Or are you running multiple incubators and filling a different one each week?

I have not heard of this but this is very interesting. Doesn’t sound very safe. :lau but I think I read somewhere a while ago quail eggs are safer than chicken eggs? Like raw. Idk if I’d be willing to try it, probably be too scared to, but do wonder if it could help my asthma... :lau

Yes there are apparently a lot more nutrients in raw meat and eggs and stuff. Of course it’s usually not exactly safe to eat raw, I don’t think we’re designed for it, but dogs and cats are and that’s why a lot of people feed raw rather than cooking it, I guess cooking takes out a bunch of the nutrients.
