➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

28-32 depending on breed.

Count me in!

@RUNuts are u still setting today? Usually my day is thurs but to set w you i might make an exception
I'm sitting here looking at the 6 laid today that all made weight of 12+ grams. I need to run upstairs and weigh the unknowns and pull the lighter ones. They may be 12 days oldish.

YES! Eggs to the bator in T-30 minutes...
Does this mean I have to set quail eggs!?!?!?
Like you need an excuse?!?
I need feather sexable ones because I don't do well with this guessing game.
It's driving me nutty.
Short trip! Welcome to the sanity farm! Would you like a few jumbos? I'm getting 2-6 eggs a days still. Fertility to be determined with the lighting changing... Sets 2 & 3 crow occasionally.

For future information, I did curse myself calling the batch on Monday. Came home to a dead little one. QB#6 still at 29. QB#7 now at 27. Looks like QB#8 will have a full 43 eggs.

I'll miss the hatch a long. These guys will hatch on the 19th. QB#6 butchered a week later. Perfect timing.

Still want to know how I got 2 more whites and a something.

:lau totally understandable!!!

:lau yeah it’s Chinese. Specifically I think like Chinese New Year ???

And yessss!!! I love this idea!!!

Does it have to be just birds/poultry!? Cause I have got some GREAT ideas already. :D

Yes! I love it!! Peafowl are so pretty. I’m totally on board lol

Yesssss!!

Can 2023 be turkeys? Since 2022 is ducks now?

Great!! Can we also add some other breeds? I like big animals.

:lau I love it!!
No, birds only.

So after the explosion I was a good girl and candled the rest of the chicken eggs... Could you please have a look and confirm that these are quitters?
