Before the internet, I used to dial into BBS (Bulletin Board Systems) that were hosted on people's computers. You had to use your phone line and be careful to make sure it was a local call so it didn't cost an arm and a leg in phone bill.

Edit: I met one of my best friends on one of those. I was a groomsmaid at his wedding... Gah... 7 or 8 years ago?

So I was collecting eggs last night in the dreary, drizzly weather we’re having and one hen was all nestled down in the bedding in one of the usual laying spots. She would pick up and rearrange a bit of hay now and then and I didn’t have the heart to move her. This morning I checked and she (just assuming it is the same bird) is still in that “nest” area and I swear I saw her turning the eggs.

What are the odds the silly thing will go broody in 50 degree weather right before winter?

Obviously I could just take the eggs away but I’ve kind of got it in my head that it would be a pretty cool long shot if it actually worked.
