View attachment 1957944 finally broke down and “gifted” myself a new phone since mine was starting to show battery life issues.....:hit
i’m extremely happy so far with the difference in photo quality!! Halloween babies.......having trouble getting temp balanced with weather extremes.....i really need to get a ceramic reptile lamp!!!
Great photo quality.
What did you get?

They’re so pretty. :love

Got two bettas and two more goldfish lol

I had my eyes on prettier, fancier, more expensive fish of course but these two caught my eye. Flaring at me every time I walked by and so interactive as opposed to all the others that either swam away or looked half dead. Then the goldfish, I wanted ones with a lot of white on them but these two swam into the net right away and I didn’t wanna be a pain so kept them. I think animals choose their owners lol these 4 sure did. :lau

Anyway.... not the greatest pics but...

I have the resources though. Already have all the supplies and plants ordered and on the way for all 3 tanks. Gonna live plant the 10 gallons like I did several years ago. :love

It was so pretty when I had it before and my betta really flourished once I put him in a better situation. :love

These guys will be in a good situation from the start.

Goldfish will be quarantined for a couple weeks first then moved into the 75 with my other 4 or I may keep them in the 20 at first to grow out a bit since they’re so tiny.

And with the way these fish were interacting with me I wanted to make sure I got those specific ones so got them today. :love
A 75 is too small for 4 goldfish.

Sweet.
I bet it's a huge difference to navagative the web.
It's so nice to have a new phone.
Congratulations!
I downloaded the BYC app on it first thing but still use my iPad mostly lol! But you were right about the cutoffs on older iPhones/iPads and my 5 didn’t have enough memory to upgrade again so I am going to have to retire it! My 6 with the charging issues will now be my bedtime internet and “book” device. I have to order a case for this one ASAP though! It’s really weird not having the same buttons too....I had to ask Siri how to turn it off!!

A 75 is too small for 4 goldfish.

From everything I’ve been reading it’s 30 gallons for the first fish and 10-15 for each additional fish?

So according to that this should be more than enough.

They are also going to have a slightly bigger filter than needed, designed for 80 gallons instead of 75, purposely bought the bigger one since I know goldfish are messy.

They’re also only about 6 inches right now so will still be pretty tiny inside that thing and considering they have lived in a 20 the last few years, I think 75 gallon will be like a mansion to them. It’s almost 3 times as big as their current set up.

It’s also way bigger than most people give them. Most people just stick them in a bowl and let them die after a few months.

I am trying my best.

I tried to get a stock tank and my dad wouldn’t allow it in the house so I had to compromise and go buy a glass tank instead.

I bought the biggest one they sold.

I can’t get them anything bigger.

But I personally think it is way better than the 20 they are in now.

This is also way bigger than most goldfish ever see in their entire lives and they will also only be in it in the winter and in a pond the majority of the year. And have heavy filtration.

They will be fine.

Common / comet goldfish aren't the same as fancy goldfish. 30 gallons is too small for a single common goldfish permanently, IMO. Additionally, the rated capacity doesn't mean that much, especially with more messy fish, your filtration should have at least double the rated capacity for that tank size. Why don't you build a pond that's deep enough so you can keep them in it year round?

The Apple version of the app has a few issues... So if it starts to act silly go back to using the browser.
