I think the silvers would be super fun but don’t have the patience and space to deal with birds that don’t have different feather patterns for males and females. There will be pearls in this batch though so that is exciting. They seem to have some really fun colors. I'm eyeballing the snowies and the schofield silvers.
What does "frigid" mean in Houston? It was 14° here around 6 am this morning. That seemed kind of frigid, but no wind, so not too bad. It's 5:00-ish now, and 40°.16 little quail babies one week old survived the frigid temperatures outside for the very first time last night. Scary and dark and all are fine.
Cute little buggers.
