@BantyChooks - is this proper use of a semicolon? I feel it is and have been practicing. I'm fighting apostrophe abuse at work. Possessive versus plural is a real issue.

Semicolons are not my specialty, but yes, that does look correct. Your em dashes still need work.

A worthy cause! Abuse is rampant in the workplace.

I’m not liking quail right now especially faker quail! Since the weatherman lied yet again, we finished the sub-aviary today in addition to some more planting and other stuff. The finches and budgies, and ducklings got moved successfully. We put the buttons in their “foot spa” cage to clean their feet and DH insisted on setting it outside for the warmth....long story short...they flushed and popped open the door and most escaped to disappear without a trace ie be dog food (I found 2 of my males dead on the couches) just retrieved 3rd female that hid under the deck. So now have 1 male and 4 female faker quail. one of my pansy fee chicks died as DH was carrying it out to the new house. So down 7 birds total. Oh and we let the 3.5 week old buns down on the ground to play and I hope they’re weaned enough cuz nearly impossible to catch those boogers now!! I tried for like 20 minutes and gave up!

really depends on the incubator and the person running it...but myshire guarantees 50-60% hatch on their eggs. kiki gets close to 100% on her hatches, but i’m around 70%

Really? After the infertile issues, QB#12 was 85%. Homegrown. QB#13 had 1 infertile and 2 early quitters at lockdown. Ask me next week how many hatched.

These are homegrown, though. YMMV

I have great results from hand delivery, but zero percent shipped.
