No birds like mud, rain, freezing weather, well, with the exception of ducks...but mud, and freezing weather is a death knell for gamebirds if they can not get out of it and find shelter.

thus why it is sooooo challenging to raise them outside here in the land of extremes!!

all this time I thought coturnix were stressful!! these pheasants are KILLING me!!! i need to chillax!! they aren’t even due to hatch yet!!!

They can be extremely frustrating at times.
