@Nabiki If I may ask a business question, when taking orders for quail hatching, do you charge full amount per egg or other? I'm faced with a situation.

In other news, QB#16 started with a bunch of eggs I had laying around. 55 to be exact. I'd like to think Santa and an ominous benefactor for a quail rail. The answer is a Little Giant rail can be adapted to a Hovabator turner with a bit of careful filing. Watching for hang ups.

There is a market for quail.

So far I've had people interested in chicks that I'm already hatching. I promise to hold chicks for them at my regular prices. I do plan to charge the same if someone wants a custom hatch, but it would need to be 30 or more, and I would ask for a non-refundable down payment of 1/3 to ensure that they're serious.

yup!! the one between the gate and the coop is one of my favorites as it is completely pansy/pansy fee.....big red is a pansy male, my pansy fee male next to him and then a pansy hen walking up to them!! ( i think there may be a rosetta tux off to the side......)

No, seriously -- those things freak me out! If it has a stinger or if it bites, then it is an immediate "AVOID AT ALL COSTS" thing. Even fuzzy bumblebees startle me....
I'm going to be so twitchy tonight... talk about nightmare fuel....
And they can sting repeatedly!? Eeeeeek!
At least I'm not allergic... all you allergic people out there, stay safe!
