I bought the cup waterers that work via a float valve. Those should work for quail. IME they're too easily broken to use with anything bigger.

I use those with my chickens. They have been using them for 2 years. I’m going to try it with the quail tomorrow when the order is delivered. I got 15. I needed more for future ideas. I’m thinking about doing the pvc pipe waterer for my quail pens. I’m going all out for these dang quail

I absolutely love my quail. They’re the sweetest things.

Those are the chicks I like to hatch especially the first out because it gets the others more motivated to get out.

I could definitely hear them all hollerin at him in their shells. Dunno where they learned such crass language at such an early age

I caved and put tiny drunk into the brooder. The rest still haven’t started unzipping but they’re lively!

Look how big they’ve gotten. This was the local breeders and scarlet/range from myshire

Insanity commences, day 2!
Yesterday, set 119 eggs. 117 from Myshire, 3 HG, but today I checked them and two of the eggs had fallen out of the rails, and one got crushed.

Today, 48 eggs. 38 from @Kiki (one arrived cracked), 10 HG just to fill the incubator.

This is the first time I have completely filled either of my incubators, much less both. Good thing I have preorders for chicks!
