Quail getting into position to break out of the egg
24 Texas A&Ms starting to hatch now. The first one is out and is going crazy because it's been alone for an hour. I'm worried it is going to hurt itself. Peeping very loudly and running around frantically. I know there is nothing I can do but is this normal?

It's normal. As long as your incubator has been hatchling proofed, it won't hurt itself.

From what I read when one hatches it triggers the rest and they all hatch near one another. I read in a post that one lady had only one hatch and she put in a toy for it snuggle up too

Yup totally normal don’t worry, it’s peeping will encourage the others to hurry.
