Highly quailified
I had a mini freakout moment when I saw a bloodied neck on the 2-week old Italian. He didn't seem to be picked on though, and was carrying on as though everything was fine.

Good Luck! You know that feeling when you do something you know you'll regret?
I separated the male from 3 females, put their eggs (7 at last count) in a pile and let the high-strung hen sit on them. Let's see if she's still sitting tomorrow morning.
Well, that lasted less than eight hours. That hen is hot and cold. Sometimes she wants to try brooding, only to have her eggs taken away. Now we know why. I came out this morning and she was wandering around, completely oblivious to the eggs she so carefully guarded just last night.Good Luck!
the first one was a need to cull and then i took the most bald and shabby looking. i shouldāve taken more males, but they tend to get really quiet and stealthy when they know their head is on the line!!!i just processed 10 quail all by myself!!
