I'm not even sure what day my eggs are on right now but I'll candle them tonight.

I’ve got to do the incubator shuffle today…..my BC eggs are due for lockdown but the call eggs need another week……pheasant egg pipped yesterday and I’m not sure where the other 2-3 call eggs are in development.
Also need to clean brooders today

I just set 74 eggs from my own birds, including a few from the jumbos that I hatched. Hopefully I'll get a better hatch rate than I have with the shipped eggs.

I am thinking about collecting to set more next weekend as soon as these current eggs hatch.

I hate hardware cloth.
I tried to use all of the scraps that I had laying around to cover this cage with and it was a pain in the butt.
I should have just went and bought another roll of hard work lots.

I did have one quarter inch 2 ft x 5 ft roll brand new and I went ahead and used that to put on the inside the floor because I'm going to use this for the babies that hatch out in a few days.

I already know I'm going to regret the 1/4 inch but it'll be okay cuz I'm probably going to cover the whole floor with dirt boxes any way.
