She came out of my Buff Cochin mix’ egg, but the Silver Duckwing OEGB fathered her.

Yeah, it has to be purebred. Need more details, before giving an answer.

It looks like she has a little tuft in the second picture!

She was still alittle wet in that spot.

She has no “buff cochin mix” traits, so I’m sure it’ll work at least a little bit.

If not, even better. Because then MysteryChicken has a chance of being wrong about it being a cockerel, lol. Not that I want Mystery to be wrong it’s just I do not need another cockerel.

I have another sexing method, that I use. Just to let you know.

I use the wing feather bud sexing method, for all types of chicks, & have been pretty accurate. Just there's certain breeds/crosses I haven't sexed personality.
