Yes they are. They grow much faster. On Wednesday they were not much bigger than the ducklings and look at them now.

She will go into a wonderful caring new home with a huge pond on Tuesday.

Glad to see she may be starting to use the leg. And very happy that her weight gain is good too!! All good signs.

I have updated the daily progress page from the ducklings article, my ducklings have gained weight like crazy! The heaviest duckling clocks in now at 125 grams, almost has quadrupled her weight:

I think i must have an eye on the Magpie duckling with the blue ring, it looks like she is falling behind, lowest weight of all ducklings for three days…

What kind of a scale do you use? I've got a really small one that I use in the kitchen to weigh food. I wonder if I could put a plastic bowl on it and put the duck in it?

I have a bath room scale digital I weight myself then pick up the bird and weigh us both Then subtract. I am not sure you could do a large duck on a kitchen scale .

My kitchen scale goes up to 11 pounds.

Mine does too. I bet I could weigh my big ducks on it if I could get them to stand still! There's no way they weigh more than 11lbs (which I just learned is 5100 grams!

I was thinking more on the line of trying to keep a Runner inside a bowl long enough to weigh it.
