I didn't think I'd have any news to post on this thread, as I hoped to not have any goslings. But I should have known my most productive goose was going to hatch babies. I tossed her first nest away mid-incubation 6 weeks ago, but lost track of time in getting her 2nd nest tossed while cooking. So of course, she hatched 8 stinking babies yesterday. I posted an ad right away in hopes that someone wants day-old goslings and can reduce the total number asap.
In other news, one of my domestic ducks also hatched a solo gosling a couple of weeks ago. It is the only baby she hatched. It is most amusing to watch her raise the gosling among the geese.
