This lil’ guy/girl is now four weeks old today, I’m still not to sure about it being a hen or roo, I’m leaning towards roo but things could change.

Yes, it's true. A fight between two cockerels of the same age will be more critical than that of a rooster and his offspring. Although not always true depending on the temperament of your rooster and the cockerel whichever one is willing to challenge. I believe it will all be ok, but have a plan "B" in mind just in case.I also have a question, I’m keeping the chick no matter what gender it ends up to be, I’m just wondering if there would be a lot of fighting between him and his dad over dominance if she/he does end up being a cockerel. I looked it up and it said that there still might be a little fighting but since the chick is his offspring it won’t be as bad, is that true or a myth?
