My DD has been trying to hatch black Nn chicks for a month now. She had 2 and then they were part of my brooder failure..and both died. she was not impressed with me!

I have a full feathered one with the same coloring. Wish I knew what to call the coloring or how I got it from my mixed flock? The red one looks to me like it has some wellsummer? I was hoping he would throw darker egg genes?

Hmmm... I can't wait to see how they lay once you get them breeding.

I have some Olive egger eggs in the bator but I'm not sure if they'll lay the olive eggs because he didn't know which hen laid what egg.

I'm basically picking what I want to keep by how nice they look
